Down to the studs...

All of the plaster is gone, and the studs are cleared of nails. I'll be using the vac in this room for days to get rid of all the dust.

Note the use of plastic stapled to the ceiling joists to try to keep more dust from coming in from the attic.

Q. How many nails does it take to keep lathe and plaster attached to the walls and ceiling.

A. One hell of a lot.
